Hello! - I'm Ed Ballou, and 2020 Glimmer is the website for my plays. I have had six plays produced - five one-acts and one full-length, mostly in small local productions, including two I produced myself - one in San Francisco and one in New York. Some of the writings on this website cover those endeavors, as well as  profiles of the two actors, Michael Lange and Paul Loper, and the director, Sylvia Baeza, with whom I prefer to work. There are video clips of the one-act and the full-length plays I produced, including some rehearsal scenes. I hope you will get a feel for my writing, as well as a sense of what it's like for a man not of the theatre to produce a play. A few of my plays were written on a 1938 Simplex typewriter - check the 2020 Glimmer Gallery -  and I have to enter them into the computer before I can post them.
